The funds will be used by the FHS Building Trades program to purchase materials for projects. Students in Haby’s classes collaborated with the FHS SystemsGo Engineering Program to build two launch pad shelters used as blockhouses for the SystemsGo rocket launches at the new North Texas launch site. The Mineral Wells location hosted its first launches in the spring of 2019. In 2020, SystemsGo students will launch from three sites in Texas (Mineral Wells, Stonewall, Smith Point) and at Jal, New Mexico. Schedules will be posted at www.systemsgo.org.
